TRADING CARDS

Just for the record, trading cards are evil. Unfortunately, I seem to be wired in such a way that, whilst I do know logically that they're absolutely useless things to own, I just don't care. I have a million ways to justify them to other people but, basically, I collect them because I can't not. As soon as I knew they existed and as soon as I realised you could actually, like, buy them from people on eBay, I was gone. In my defense, I have now succeeded in selling off my Harry Potter collections. I count that as a victory as the HP thing is just a money sucking pit, what with its thousands of prop/auto/costume cards and its soul breaking habit of issuing upgrade sets. Tragically, every penny I earned from the sales went on buying Supernatural cards. You can't win them all.

My most obsessive collections are Stargate Atlantis and Supernatural. SGA S1 was the first set I went after with a vengence - the first time I said to myself, hell yeah! £50 for a card is cheap. As a result, I'm about 5 cards from having a master set. Yeah, but those 5 cards are all really expensive (~£100/200 each) and very rare. I haven't given up yet though.

Anyway, because I'm sad this way, here is where I'm going to keep a reasonably up-to-date track of which cards I've got and which I haven't for my favourite sets (yeah, with pictures and everything -_-;) Also, in case anyone else happens to collect/want to collect these cards and happens to be reading this...I do sell my spares in my eBay shop
