Well, today kinda sucked. I actually physically couldn't get to work today because of the weather (that's not as bad as it sounds...I don't drive or have a suitable bus route nearby for work, so I have to walk). I felt a little pathetic having to call in with that excuse though. It sounds really weak without knowing that I stepped outside my house only to be pelted half to death with hail. I gave up and turned back within 100 metres ^^;

So, instead I spent most of the day trying to enforce the diet we've had to put one of our cats on. I don't know if you've ever tried to keep an obese cat on a diet, but it's not easy.

I've also done tonight's update.

For games, there's the friday biweekly games. There's also the lottery, raffle and a new board up at Pick a Square. Both Themed card sets are open again for more image submissions - both are also nearing having enough submissions to be made, so if you've got any more images you'd like to see in them please send them in.

For reminders, as the end of January's sneaking up on us, please don't forget to get in any contest entries or donations for this month. Also, get in any Cardmaker entries for the current round - which is for Swatch cards - please get them in for Wednesday.

Woo! For once, I've been moderately successful in what I set out to do for tonight's update...it's just taken me two hours longer than I'd hoped it would.

So! Games: tonight's game is Trivia Challenge. The theme is vehicles. It's not too hard ^^

For cards, I've only got the one set - for Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days. I was hoping to also have one for Harvest Moon DS, but I made the stupid mistake of starting to play it first. It's now eaten my life.

You can all take one base card from the new set - please comment with what you take ^__^

Also, I've made a (small) start on my modifications and I'd like to know what you all think? If you go to the Sticker Archive, you should see that I've changed the navigation to a more graphic based system which is hopefully clearer and more obvious. It's only on the main sticker page and the layout of it isn't totally finished. If you could, let me know what you think ^__^

So, I totally forgot yesterday that it was Chinese New Year and ended up having a huge family meal. And by the time that was finished I totally couldn't face doing a monday update. Sorry ^^;

I have now got the update, though, so you can go and play all the Monday weekly games ^__^

For tomorrow, I'm hoping to have some new card sets ready for you plus maybe some of the (very small, mostly cosmetic) changes that I've got planned at least started.
